Want the explanation first? Read the In vs At (Place) lesson
Use in when you're inside a space or an area: in the kitchen, in Cluj. Use at for a point, or a place where something happens: at the bus stop, at work, at a concert. Some places take both, with a different focus: at the station (the meeting point) vs in the station (inside the building).
It's cold, so let's wait in the station.
I'll meet you at the station.
Write two sentences about your own life: one with In and one with At. Then explain the difference to a partner.
Answers will vary. Check that each sentence follows the rule on page 1, or paste them into Clarigram to have them checked.
